The following is a list of events sponsored by departments across campus that count towards the Passport to leadership requirements. Each event is worth one stamp. Please see the sponsoring departments’ websites for more detailed information.
Unless otherwise noted, to receive passport credit for attending any of these additional events, please download and fill out this evaluation, and e-mail it to cchowdhr@uci.edu.

Come meet BILL NYE as he discusses how students can change their lifestyle to be Pro-Green and Sustainable to the Environment. Come prepared for an evening jam-packed with excitement, comedy, and fun! Tickets are required for the event and can be picked up from UC Items (for free!). Hurry because they will go quick.

Take Back the Night 2008
Event to raise awareness about sexual violence
Wednesday April 23
7pm @ UCI Flagpoles
Sponsored by CARE, UCI Gender Education Series, and UCI Health Education
To Receive Passport Credit: There will be exhibits at this event along
with separate passports designed specifically for this event. Visit 10
exhibits and have them stamp your passport; then turn it into the
designated area they have allotted for the passports. These will enter
you in a raffle for their event. We will collect these passports after
the raffle and use them to give you credit for the event. Make sure to
write "Passport to Leadership" and your student id# on the passport so we
can credit your attendance.

Free Wheelchair Mission- "Mobility in Motion 2008"

11:00 am- 12:30 pm
Free Wheelchair Mission is going on the road this spring with a tour
called "Mobility in Motion!" The Irvine based non profit organization
will travel throughout the US from April through June- spreading the word
about the millions of children and adults worldwide who need the gift of
mobility. The Free Wheelchair Mission provides wheelchairs at no cost to
the disabled
in the developing world.
On Monday, April 21st, Free Wheelchair Mission, will kick off the
"Mobility in Motion 2008" tour at UC Irvine! Don Schonendorfer, Ph.D.,
President and Founder of Free Wheelchair Mission, will share his goals and
inspiration for this project. Amongst Don¹s many achievements, he was
awarded Outstanding Founder of the Year in Orange County, and most
recently was honored with the "Above and Beyond Award," by the
Congressional Medal of Honor Society.

This workshop will help you learn the skills necessary to effectively sell your product and overcome these hurdles. At the end of the day you will be able to effectively sell and increase your overall sales.
