FAQ
General Questions
How long is each workshop?
Each workshop will be 1 hour long. If you do not
show up on time, or if you leave early, you will
not receive credit for attending the workshop.
I can’t attend all 7 workshops in the
Fall. Is there still a way for me to complete
the program?
Yes! The 7 workshops need to be completed by April
22 (Spring Quarter) in order for you to be eligible
for a leadership certificate. It is up to you
to determine when and which workshops you want
to attend. Please note that each workshop is offered
only once in the year, except for the mandatory
workshops, which are each offered 3 times (once
every quarter).
Can I earn more than one leadership certificate
in a single year?
Yes! If you meet the requirements for the Civic
Engagement as well as the Entrepreneurial track,
your certificate will note that you had an emphasis
in both areas.
Registration Questions
Do I have to be registered online to attend
a Passport to Leadership workshop?
No, the workshops are open to everyone. However,
in order to receive credit for the workshops you
attend toward your leadership certificate, you
must register online.
What kind of commitment am I making by registering
for the program on this website?
Registration for the program is simply for the
purpose of tracking the sessions you have received
credit for. It does NOT mean you must complete
the passport certificate program, although it
is highly encouraged.
I attended a workshop before I registered
online. Will I still get credit for it?
Yes! But please try to register online as soon
as possible.
Attendance Questions
I forgot how many sessions I attended. Is
there a way to find this information?
Yes! During each session, you should sign in on
the sign-in sheet as well as get your passport
stamped at the end of the session. Once you register
for the program online, we will use the sign in
sheets to record your attendance, which will be
accessible for your viewing anytime you sign in.
How often is my workshop attendance updated
online?
Your attendance for a workshop will be posted
for your viewing online 1 week after the workshop.
