Administrative Intern Program

Each year, approximately 25 undergraduates are selected to participate in the UCI Administrative Intern Program. Under the guidance of carefully chosen UCI mentors, Administrative Interns work 10 hours per week in campus departments where they assume responsibility for projects and enhance their leadership skills. Students selected for this year-long program also enroll in a three-quarter course through the Paul Merage School of Business where they receive 12 units of graded credit for the academic year.

2007-08 Admin Interns visit Rhino records in Burbank to discuss the company's efforts toward corporate social responsibility.

The Administrative Intern Program is designed to:

• Offer selected undergraduates an administrative experience under the direction of a UCI administrator.

• Expose interns to selected management topics and leadership constructs.

• Serve the UCI community by incorporating student expertise in the development of programs and projects that benefit students, faculty, and staff.
