Administrative Internship Program

Application Process

Candidates for the Administrative Intern Program should:

• be a full time UCI student (12 units or more)

• have attended UCI for at least one academic year

• be able to commit to the program in its entirety (e.g. full academic year)

• be able to devote 10 hours per week to a departmental internship

• have a minimum 3.0 GPA (exceptions may be considered)

Previous campus and/or community leadership involvements, honors and awards, and prior administrative experiences, while not required, will strengthen a candidate's application.

Selection Process
A written application, campus references, and a group interview are required of each candidate. After having been selected for the program, each intern interviews with one of three participating mentors. Every effort is made to place interns with one of their top mentor choices.
