Chicano/ Latino Studies: Reception for Newly Admitted Students

The Department of Chicano/ Latino Studies invites all admitted students and their families to meet faculty, staff, students, and alumni to learn about campus resources and support networks.

School of Medicine Tours
10:30 am, 12:30 pm • Ring Mall
Tours depart from the School of Medicine booth on Ring Mall. Visit classrooms, student study areas, lounges, and the state-of-the-art Student Training Center. Current medical students will be leading the tours and available to answer your questions and discuss their experiences.

Learn more about UROP’s Programs in support of undergraduate research including: advising students on how to get involved in faculty-mentored research and creative activities, providing funding in support of project-related expenses or students’ time and efforts, and sponsoring the UCI Undergraduate Research Symposium and Journal.

Campuswide Honors Program (CHP) Info Session
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm • Social Science Plaza A 1100
The CHP is UC Irvine’s comprehensive honors program for students of all majors. This session is primarily for students who have been accepted to the program for Fall 2008. Others interested in the CHP may attend as space is available.
